Eat, Sleep, Think

This is what I would look like if you saw me in real life right now. (Photo courtesy of an air bag, circa 2007.)

Yesterday was my birthday, and I was supposed to start my happiness project today. Well, I couldn't have picked a worse time to start something new. I wanted to start working on getting my health (and mental health) back on track this month, but I am completely overwhelmed by this play and everything else that the fam has going on. I wanted to start sleeping and exercising and eating better. I wanted to finish losing those last few L-Bs of baby weight, but I don't think there's even a glimmer of hope that my basic needs will be met until November. For serious. November.

I don't actually have time to go to the gym. I know that sounds like an excuse, but I have to get a babysitter before I can do anything by myself (including showering). So, going to the gym requires that somebody else is home for an hour or more. Ha ha. I'm so funny. Hysterical, even. And not in a good way.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten or actually lost my mind. I will get this happiness project going. Just as soon as I can think.
